Every day you work hard serving your customers, but many of you go outside the walls of your restaurants to serve the needs of those in your community, too. Whether you’re partnering with police to reward good deeds, spearheading anti-bullying campaigns in schools or feeding the hungry, you’re growing good in the community. It’s that dedication to service that Hillshire Farm® brand celebrates, and it’s the reason why we launched the Great Pizza Give Back in 2022.

The spirit of giving is bold and bountiful at Wild West Pizza. Working with local police, their “Positive Ticketing” program rewards good deeds with “positive citations” redeemable for free pizzas. Their “Be Nice For a Slice” anti-bullying initiative equips local teachers with free pizza certificates to hand out to students spotted doing something nice for others. They honor first responders each year on 9/11 by donating dinner to all local firehouses and the nearby military base. Wild West Pizza, we salute you for all the good you do.
The charitable spirit is fully alive at Slim and Husky’s. Their Lunch & Learn series speaks directly to students about education, entrepreneurship and using their voices to build a better future. Their "Pizza With a Purpose" initiative raises awareness for a summer camp program. And their “Reading is Doughp” literacy program inspires young readers during the summer months.
Committed to being a light in their community, Viola’s supports national hunger organizations and provides free pizzas to local first responders and veterans. They bring folks together with movie night, cruise night and have united the community with their Walls for Woman mural tour.
Contributions to the Salmon Harbor and Winchester Bay fishing derbies is just a start to all the good they do in their community. They also support worthy charities such as Pints for Pups and St. Judes Angel of the Hour, as well as many local sports teams.
The word inclusive truly captures the community-first spirit of Krave Pizzeria. Their initiatives benefit a wide variety of groups ranging from theater groups to the robotics team and sports teams to church groups. First responders are offered half-off food, and they donate food to various groups as well.
The spirit of giving is strong at Tobie’s Pizzeria. They regularly host “School Nights” that benefit local schools, as well as donating to athletic programs. Passionate about local rescues, their latest community initiative is an adoption event to help find loving homes for animals in need.
Deeply rooted in giving back to their community, Pizza Americana has teamed up with the local fire department during the holidays to bring joy to families in need. They support school events like prom, partner with Head Start and foster inclusivity by hosting Autism Night at the restaurant.
This pizzeria turns compassion into action. Not only have they helped a family rebuild after a fire, fed those affected by Hurricane Helene and raised funds for MUSC Children’s Hospital, they have brought hope to families in need through a holiday angel tree program.
From encouraging kids to read with pizza rewards to supporting school events and performances, this operator finds a wealth of ways to uplift their community. They even turned a student-created pizza contest into a scholarship fundraiser, giving back in many ways that make a difference.

MVP Pizza is a hometown operation that has a whole lot of heart, rooted in four generations of family and community. Beyond donating to the local church, schools and organizations, such as Reaching Our Hulbert Community, their generosity extends to other small Cherokee County schools and businesses. They’ve also hosted Movies in the Park, the Christmas Parade and many more events to promote togetherness and harmony in the community. Congratulations, MVP Pizza!
Sponsoring youth athletics, supporting student-focused activities and participating in countless volunteer efforts is just scratching the surface of all that Dayton’s does for their community. By donating pizza to local runaway shelters, groups committed to fighting addiction and inner-city schools, they make so much possible, for so many people. Built on the belief that their job is to make people happy every day, through food and generosity, Dayton’s is certainly delivering. Congratulations.
Nelly’s gives back to many causes that benefit humans and hounds. They team up with the local animal shelter and place flyers of adoptable dogs on every pizza box. This gives the dogs more exposure so they can find new homes. Nelly’s also sponsors a multitude of groups, such as little league teams, cheer squads and football and basketball teams. And they go the extra mile to feed the local children’s home every week. We salute you for your impressive efforts and spirit of giving, Nelly’s!
