1 Tbsp. | Canola Or Other Neutral Oil |
1 Ea. | Large head of Romaine lettuce, torn |
1/2 Cup | Fresh Grated Parmesan |
1 Cup | Croutons |
2 Filets | Anchovy - Chopped |
1 Ea. | Garlic Clove - Finely chopped |
1 Ea | Egg Yolk |
2 Tbsp. | Lemon Juice |
1 Tsp. | Dijon Mustard |
1/3 Cup | Olive Oil |
Step 1: Heat one tablespoon of canola oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2: Add Steak-EZE® Marinated Fast BreakAway® Sirloin Beef Slices and sear, about one minute per side, then break into pieces using a spatula or wooden spoon.
Step 3: Remove from heat.
Step 4: For the salad dressing, begin by mashing the anchovy and garlic together in a mortar and pestle until it forms a smooth paste. In a small bowl, whisk egg yolk, lemon juice and mustard.
Step 5: Slowly incorporate ⅓ cup of olive oil, making sure to keep whisking the whole time.
Step 6: Add anchovy mixture and ¼ cup of finely grated Parmesan.
Step 7: Toss well and top with steak, croutons, and shaved Parmesan.
