Steak & Pineapple Fried Rice

1 oz. | Soybean Oil |
3 oz. | Lite Soy Sauce |
1 oz. | Carrots - Diced Small |
2 oz. | Red peppers - Diced Medium |
2 oz. | Red onion - Diced Small |
2 oz. | Pineapple, Fresh - Grilled - Diced Medium (Canned Is Good Option) |
2 oz. | Water Chestnuts - Chopped |
1 1/2 Tbsp. | Scallion - Curls |

Step 1: In a hot wok or large sauté pan, place the soybean oil and coat the bottom of the hot pan.
Step 2: Cook beef until cooked completely through.
Step 3: Add in red pepper strips and broccoli florets and cook for an additional 1 min.
Step 4: Add in the Plum-Teriyaki sauce and heat until all ingredients are warmed throughout.
Step 5: On an entrée plate, deposit 5 oz. of fried rice.
Step 6: Top with Plum-Teriyaki Beef with vegetables.
Step 7: Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
Serving Option:
A light drizzle of a toasted sesame mayo, sriracha mayo or a fried egg are outstanding additions to the dish.
Steak & Pineapple Fried Rice
Step 1: In a hot wok or large sauté pan, place the soybean oil and coat the bottom of the hot pan.
Step 2: Add in the carrots, water chestnuts, onions, red peppers, and pineapple.
Step 3: Cook for 5-7 min. or until all ingredients are warmed through. The onions should be lightly sautéed in color.
Step 4: Add in the rice, cooked steak and using a folding motion, fold in the cooked rice, not overworking it.
Step 5: Drizzle lite soy sauce and mirin.
Step 6: Garnish with scallion curls.
