Crispy Chicken Po’ Boy Sandwich Recipe

Turn up the texture on this classic NOLA-inspired sandwich! Juicy, crispy Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites served on a freshly baked hoagie roll, topped with crisp iceberg lettuce, sliced Roma tomato and finished with our spicy, creamy remoulade. Délicieux!

1 oz.Remoulade Sauce, Prepared
2 oz.Iceberg Lettuce - Shredded
3 ea.Roma Tomato -Sliced

Tyson® Mini Fully Cooked Lightly Breaded Whole Muscle Chicken Bites

Tyson® Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks

 

Directions

Step 1: Cook Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites in 350ºF fryer for 60-90 seconds or until internal temperature reaches 160ºF.

Step 2: Hold hot for service.

Step 3: Cut lettuce and tomato according to recipe.

Step 4: Hold cold for service.

Step 5: If hoagie is not pre-cut, slice hoagie length wise leaving a hinge on the back of the bun.

Step 6: Lightly toast bread over a griddle or in an oven, so that interior is soft, and crust is slightly crunchy.

Step 7: Spread remoulade sauce on the inside of bun, making sure to cover the length of the interior.

Step 8: Add shredded lettuce over remoulade and tuck tomatoes into the lettuce towards the bottom of the bun.

Step 9: Finish with Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites along the length of the sandwich.

Step 10: Serve hot with chips.
