Chicago-Style Italian Beef Sandwich Recipe

5 oz.Original Philly® Fully Cooked Seasoned Sliced Beef 4/2.5 lb.
1 ea. French Bread - 6-inch 
1 oz. Giardiniera
1 Tbsp.Roasted Garlic Aioli (Sub-Recipe)

Roasted Garlic Aioli

Yield:  2 Cups

AmountMAIN INGREDIENTS
3 ea./3 oz. Egg Yolk Fresh or Pasturized
2 oz.Fresh Lemon Juice 
1 Tbsp.Yellow Mustard
1 tsp.Salt
2 oz.Roasted Garlic Puree
2 cupsCanola Oil
Directions

Step 1: Thaw Original Philly® Sliced Steak in the cooler 24 hours prior.

Step 2: To warm seasoned beef, use steam oven 250˚F until warm.  

Step 3: For build, smear the roasted black pepper aioli, top with fully cooked steak, top with giardiniera and serve.

Roasted Garlic Aioli Directions

Step 1. In a food processor, combine egg yolk, lemon juice, mustard, salt and garlic puree. 

Step 2. With food processor running, slowly drizzle in oil until all oil has been emulsified. 

Step 3. Hold cold for service.
