Brunch Chicken Biscuit Recipe

This sandwich uses a buttermilk biscuit as a base and is topped with pimento cheese, our Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets a perfectly cooked sunny-side up egg and fresh chives. Serve with a side of roasted vegetable hash and you’ll have an instant favorite.

Ingredients

1 EATyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets, 5.2 oz
3 OZ.Roasted vegetable hash, prepared
1 EA.Egg, raw
AS NEEDEDOil
1 EA. Biscuit, halved
2 OZ.Pimento Cheese
GARNISHChives, fresh, chopped
TO TASTEBlack pepper, finely ground

 

Directions

Step 1. To prepare Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets, preheat cooking oil to 350°F. From frozen, place filet in a fryer basket, submerge in oil, and shake basket. Cook the product for 7.5 minutes or until product reaches at least 165°F internal temperature. Remove from oil and set aside.

Step 2. Prepare vegetable hash according to preferred recipe. Hold heated.

Step 3. To fry egg, heat oil in large sauté pan over medium heat and add egg. Cook until egg white is fully cooked but yolk is still tender, roughly 30 to 60 seconds. Remove from heat.

Step 4. To Serve, plate the bottom half of biscuit and layer with pimento cheese, chopped fresh chives, Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets, fried sunny side egg and freshly ground black pepper. Place biscuit top half on side of sandwich. Pair with house-made vegetable hash. Serve immediately.
