A baguette sandwich filled with sliced Steak EZE® Fast Breakaway® Steak, roasted red pepper strips and caramelized onions, topped with a fried egg.

6 oz. | Steak EZE® Fast Breakaway® Steak |
1 | Soft baguette, 10" or foot long hoagie roll |
2 oz. | Roasted red pepper strips |
2 oz. | Caramelized onions, strips |
5 slices | Provolone cheese |
1 ea, | Egg, fried |
Step 1. In a sauté pan, preheated with oil, sauté Steak EZE® Fast Breakaway® Steak. When steak is nearly done, add peppers & onions to the pan and combine with the steak. Once cooked, set aside.
Step 2. Slice baguette in half and butter each half. Toast until golden.
Step 3. Shingle the provolone cheese onto the bottom half of the hot baguette.
Step 4. Layer the Steak EZE® Fast Breakaway® Steak, pepper and onion mixture over the cheese. Place top of baguette over the mixture and cut sandwich in half.
Step 5. Using a long metal spatula, place half of the sandwich on a cutting board and remove the top baguette.
Step 6. Add fried egg on top of mixture, replace baguette top half and then serve.
