Chipotle Honey Butter
Yield: 24 OZ.

1/4 cup | Honey |
2 tbsp. | Chipotle Puree |
1 tbsp. | Apple Cider Vinegar |
4 oz. | Cold Cubed Butter |
Step 1: For best results, thaw Hillshire Farm® Fully Cooked Split Smoked Sausage Links before preparation. Preheat skillet over medium heat, then place thawed sausage in skillet. Cook Hillshire Farm® Fully Cooked Split Smoked Sausage Links for 10-12 minutes, turning for even browning, to a minimum internal temperature of 160°F.
Step 2: Cook hashbrown patties according to package, until crispy and golden brown.
Step 3: Melt cheddar cheese slices on hashbrown patties and hold warm.
Step 4: Alternate stacking hashbrowns and Hillshire Farm® Fully Cooked Split Smoked Sausage Links 6:1 starting with hashbrown on the bottom.
Step 5: Place sunny side up egg on top of build and finish with a warm chipotle honey butter glaze.
Step 6: Serve with a side of fresh fruit.
Chipotle Honey Butter
Step 1: In a sauté pan over medium heat, bring chicken stock, honey, chipotle puree, and vinegar to a low simmer. Reduce by half.
Step 2: Add cold cubed butter and whisk into hot liquid to emulsify. Sauce should have a creamy sheen.
Step 3: Pour over hashbrown sausage stacker.
NOTE: This is a pan sauce to be made “a la minute” or in the moment as you are plating the finished dish. It will not hold hot.
