Red Wine and Rosemary Braised Country Ribs Recipe

The hearty pork flavor of the braised ribs pairs perfectly with the tangy, citrusy salad for a meal with tons of taste. Braise the boneless ribs with red wine, rosemary, onions and garlic for a meal your customers won’t forget.

Ingredients

YIELD: 2 LBS

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
2 LB. Pork Boneless Ribs
1 TSP. Kosher Salt
1 TSP. Black Pepper, ground
2 TBSP. Vegetable Oil
1 Cup. Boiler Onions
5 EA. Garlic Cloves
1 Cup. Red Wine
2 TBSP. Freshly Chopped Rosemary

 

Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350° F.

Step 2: Pat the ribs dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat oil over medium-high heat in a thick bottom braising pot or sauté pan. Brown each rib on all sides and set aside in a half hotel pan.

Step 3: Stir in the onions and garlic and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour in the wine and bring to a simmer.

Step 4: Transfer braising liquid to the half hotel pan pouring it over the short ribs. Cover hotel pan with foil and cook covered in the oven until the pork is tender, about 1 hour.

Step 5: Garnish with rosemary and serve immediately.
