The Sonoran Pizza Recipe

This delicious pizza features our Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Pork Chorizo Crumbles with roasted poblano peppers and red onions, spicy red sauce, and a blend of chihuahua cheese and smoked mozzarella. It’s all topped with a roasted corn & black bean salsa and a final garnish of fresh cilantro and avocado-lime aioli.

Ingredients

YIELD: 6-8 SLICES

1 ea.Round Hand Tossed Double Dough, 12-inch
5 oz.Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Fully Cooked Pork Chorizo Crumbles
1 oz.Poblano Peppers, roasted
1 oz.Red Onions, roasted 
3 oz.Spicy Red Sauce
2 oz.Chihuahua Cheese - shredded
1 oz.Smoked Mozzarella Cheese - shredded
1 oz.Roasted Corn & Black Bean Salsa (Commercially Prepared)
As neededCilantro - Fresh
As GarnishAvocado-Lime Aioli (Commercially Prepared)
Directions

Step 1: Cover the pizza dough tightly and slack in a cooler prior to use.

Step 2: Brush the crust with olive oil just prior to assembling the pizza.

Step 3: To assemble, spread 3 ounces of spicy red sauce evenly over the crust. 

Step 4: Top with 3 ounces of a blend of shredded chihuahua and smoked mozzarella cheese, 5 ounces of Hillshire Farm® Pork Chorizo Crumbles, 2 ounces of roasted poblano and red onions and 1 ounce of roasted black bean and corn salsa.

Step 5: Bake the pizza pie in a pre-heated 450°F impinger oven for 4 minutes.
