Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak Recipe

Cheesesteak or wings? Don't make customers choose one. This bold twist on a couple classics brings the heat. Chicken slices cooked with sautéed onions and peppers, all tossed in your kitchen's favorite Buffalo hot sauce. Melt a few slices of American cheese and then serve on a long Italian roll.

    Cook Time: 10 min.

Ingredients

Serving Amount: 1 serving

4 oz.Original Philly® Chicken Sandwich Slices, 4 oz
1 Tbsp.Olive oil
1 or 2 Tbsp.Buffalo style hot sauce
4 Ea.Slices of preferred cheese
2 Tbsp.Onion, sliced
1 Ea.Long Italian roll

 

Directions

Step 1: Heat griddle to 350-400˚F and coat with Olive Oil.

Step 2: Sautée chicken slices until brown on one side, about 1 minute.

Step 3: Flip onto other side and begin separating chicken slices (do not over chop).

Step 4: Add Buffalo Style Hot Sauce

Step 5: Mix in sautéed onions and thoroughly cook to a minimum temperature of 165˚F.

Step 6: Add cheese slices.

Step 7: When cheese is melted, slide the spatula under the meat and flip into a hinged long roll.
