Jalapeno Pepperoni Pizza Recipe

Perfect for spice lovers, this pizza features a delicious crust piled high with spicy jalapeño pepperoni and fresh jalapeño slices, all topped with cheese and melted until golden and bubbly.

6 oz.Red pizza sauce, commercially prepared 
6 oz.Pizza cheese blend, 80-part skim mozzarella cheese, 20-part Parmesan cheese, shredded 
3-1/2 ozSliced BONICI® Jalapeño Pepperoni 
1 oz.Fresh jalapeno slices 
As desiredParmesan cheese, grated 
As desiredCrushed red pepper 
Directions

Step 1. Cover the crust tightly and slack in the refrigerator between 32° and 36°F prior to use.

Step 2. Cover the jalapeño pepperoni completely and slack in the refrigerator between 32° and 36°F prior to use.

Step 3. Brush the crust with olive oil just prior to assembling the pizza.

Step 4. Assemble each pizza: Spread 6 ounces of sauce evenly over crust. Top with 5 ounces of pizza cheese blend, 3½ ounces of pepperoni, 1 ounce of additional pizza cheese blend, and 1 ounce of fresh jalapeño slices.

Step 5. Bake uncovered, on a lightly oiled pan dusted with cornmeal or on a mesh pizza screen, in a preheated conventional oven at 450°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Step 6. Remove from oven and slice into 8 portions.

Step 7. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper.
