Steakhouse Flatbread Recipe

Steak-EZE® Redi Steak® Fully Cooked Seasoned Sliced Beef on top of a cherry tomato sauce topped with slices of mozzarella cheese and chunks of Bleu cheese, fresh shaved red onions, baby arugula, and drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil all served on a focaccia style flatbread crust.

6 OzCherry Tomato Sauce (Sub-Recipe)
10 Ea.Mozzarella  Cheese Log - Sliced
3 Oz.Bleu Cheese Crumbled
2 Oz.Red Onion - Shaved Thin
6 Oz.Steak-EZE® Redi Steak® Fully Cooked Seasoned Sliced Beef 
 2 Oz.Baby Arugula
2 Tbsp.Balamic Vinegar Glaze (Commercially Available) 
2 Tbsp.Olive Oil - Prepared

Sub-Recipe Ingredients

Cherry Tomato Pizza Sauce

Yield: 32 Oz

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
1/4 CupExtra Virgin Olive Oil
5 Ea.Garlic Clove - Peeled & Minced
4 CupsCherry Tomatos - Whole
2 tsp.Italian Seasoning (Commercially Available) 
1 tsp.Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp.Black Pepper - Ground
Directions

Step 1. Pre-heat oven to 450°F.

Step 2. Place focaccia crust onto a clean worksurface.

Step 3. Spread cherry tomato sauce evenly over focaccia crust.

Step 4. Top with mozzarella and bleu cheese.

Step 5. Spread sliced onions and Steak-EZE® Redi Steak® Fully Cooked Seasoned Sliced Beef, evenly around entire pizza.

Step 6. Place prepared flatbread onto a pizza screen and place it into the oven.

Step 7. Cook for approximately 4 – 6 minutes.

Step 8. Remove from oven and garnish flatbread with arugula.

Step 9. Drizzle the entire flatbread with balsamic glaze and olive oil.

 

Sub-Recipe Directions

Step 1: Add the extra-virgin olive oil and finely chopped garlic to a medium saucepan over low heat.

Step 2: Sauté the garlic until soft, approximately 5-8 minutes. Stir frequently, making sure not to burn the garlic.

Step 3: Increase the heat to medium and add the cherry tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Step 4: After approximately 5-7 minutes, the tomatoes will start to break down. Stir often to break up the tomatoes.

Step 5: When the tomatoes begin to look soft and wrinkly, gently press down on them with a potato masher to encourage them to burst open.

Step 6: Lower the heat and let the sauce simmer without the lid for 25-30 minutes.

Step 7: Let the sauce cool to room temperature before using.

Step 8: Use as needed.
