Sicilian Style Pizza Recipe

Sicilian style with an alfredo sauce, spicy Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Italian Sausage, Calabria chilies, roasted fennel, and onions, finished with golden raisins and pine nuts and chopped grilled scallions.

Ingredients

YIELD:  8 SLICES

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
1 ea. Round Hand tossed Double Dough 
4 oz. Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Italian Sausage, Large Chunk, Fully Cooked, 14 Pieces Per Ounce
3 oz. Alfredo Sauce 
2 oz. Calabria Chilies 
1 oz. Fennel, roasted 
1 oz. Onions, roasted 
As garnish Golden raisins 
As garnish Pine nuts, roasted 
As garnish Scallions, grilled 
As needed Olive Oil 
Directions
Step 1: Grab the dough, cover tightly and slack in cooler prior to use.
 

Step 2: Brush the crust with olive oil just prior to assembling the pizza.

Step 3: To assemble each pizza: Spread 3 ounces of alfredo sauce evenly over crust. Top with 4 ounces of spicy Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Italian Sausage, 2 ounces of Calabria chilies, 1 ounce of fennel and 1 ounce of roasted onion.

Step 4: Bake in a pre-heated 450°F impinger oven for 4 minutes.

Step 5: Garnish golden raisins, pine nuts and scallions.
