Bao Bun Meatball Recipe

An Asian inspired bao bun with a savory meatball paired with sliced carrot, red cabbage, kewpie mayo, pickled cucumbers and garnished with white sesame seeds.

1 Ea. Bonici® Fully Cooked Oven Roasted Italian Style Pork and Beef Meatballs, .5 oz
1 Ea. Bao Bun, commercially available
1 Tbsp. Kewpie Mayo
1 oz. Asian Slaw, commercially available 
4 Ea. Pickled cucumbers, commercially available
As garnish. White Sesame Seeds

 

Directions

Convection:  Appliances vary. Adjust accordingly.

Step 1:   Open bag and place meatballs in single layer on baking tray. Convection Oven 350°F for 10 - 15 minutes. Heat from Frozen. Adjust accordingly to insure internal temperature reaches 145°F.

Step 2:  On a clean sanitized work surface add the warm bao bun, kewpie mayo, Asian slaw, pickled cucumbers, and meatball with a light garnish on white sesame seeds and serve.
