Pork Tomahawk Bulgogi Recipe

Make your pork tomahawk a bit spicy, with a hint of sweetness and a savory undertones. It pairs perfectly with potato pancakes, or you can simply serve it up on the bone with your favorite toppings.

2 TBSP.  Olive Oil 
2 EA. Lime Zest 
8 EA. Roasted Garlic or Black Garlic Cloves 
4 TBSP. Gochujang Paste 
3 TBSP. Hoisin 
1 EA. Apple, Diced 
4 EA. Scallions, Diced 
2 TSP. Kosher Salt 
2 TSP.Black Pepper
Directions

Step 1. Complete the sub-recipe for Marinade.

Step 2. Coat tomahawk with marinade. Place in airtight container and refrigerate overnight.

Step 3. Prepare charcoal or gas grill for medium heat.

Step 4. Grill 10 to 12 minutes per side until an internal temperature of 145°F.

Step 5. Remove from heat and transfer to service plate; allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with toppings and sides, as desired.

Alternative Cooking Method (Cast Iron-Skillet/Oven):

Step 1. Complete the sub-recipe for Marinade.

Step 2. Coat tomahawk with marinade, place in airtight container and refrigerate overnight.

Step 3. Preheat oven to 325°F. 

Step 4. Preheat a cast-iron skillet for 5 to 8 minutes on medium heat until smoking. 

Step 5. Place tomahawk in cast-iron pan for 5 minutes per side and baste with 2 tablespoons of butter. 

Step 6. Transfer skillet to the oven and cook for 10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F. 

Step 7. Remove from oven and transfer to service plate; allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with toppings and sides, as desired.
