Step 2. Coat tomahawk with marinade. Place in airtight container and refrigerate overnight.
Step 3. Prepare charcoal or gas grill for medium heat.
Step 4. Grill 10 to 12 minutes per side until an internal temperature of 145°F.
Step 5. Remove from heat and transfer to service plate; allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with toppings and sides, as desired.
Alternative Cooking Method (Cast Iron-Skillet/Oven):

Step 2. Coat tomahawk with marinade, place in airtight container and refrigerate overnight.
Step 3. Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 4. Preheat a cast-iron skillet for 5 to 8 minutes on medium heat until smoking.
Step 5. Place tomahawk in cast-iron pan for 5 minutes per side and baste with 2 tablespoons of butter.
Step 6. Transfer skillet to the oven and cook for 10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
