Italian Wedding Soup with Italian Sausage Recipe

This tasty, old-school, chicken soup classic is wedded with pearl pasta, fresh baby spinach leaves, a rich, roasted chicken stock and Hillshire Farm® All Natural Fully Cooked Italian Sausage Crumbles It’s full of comforting, homestyle flavor and a recipe you’ll have and hold from this day forward. 

Ingredients

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
1 lb. Hillshire Farm® All Natural Fully Cooked Italian Sausage Crumbles
1 gallonChicken Stock or Roasted Chicken Stock
2 quartsPearl Pasta (Cooked)
4 oz.Spinach Leaves, baby
optionalParmesan Cheese, grated
Directions

Step 1: Cook pasta and reserve.

Step 2: Heat chicken stock to warm 155°F, add cooked pasta, fresh spinach leaves and  Hillshire Farm® All Natural Fully Cooked Italian Sausage Crumbles

Step 3: Cook on low for 15 minutes to allow temperature to rebound     

Step 4: Serve with an option garnish of grated Parmesan Cheese. 

Note: For a less spicy version, use  Hillshire Farm® All Natural Fully Cooked Italian Sausage Crumbles
