Chicken Cali Sandwich Recipe

Scrambled eggs, seasoned Original Philly® Chicken Sandwich Slices, tomatoes, pepperjack cheese, guacamole, sundried tomato sauce and chives served on a warm bun.

1 Tbsp.Canola Oil
5 Oz.Original Philly® Chicken Sandwich Slices, 4 oz
1 Ea.Kaiser Bun - Split & Toasted
2 Oz.Fresh Guacamole (Commercially Available)
2 Ea.Large Tomato Sliced
2 Oz.Scrambled Eggs - Prepared
1 Ea.Pepperjack Cheese - Sliced
2 Oz.Sundried Tomato Spread (Commercially Available)
1/2 tsp.Chive Onion - Sliced Thin

Directions

Step 1: Preheat a flat top grill to 350°F.

Step 2: Place oil and Original Philly® Chicken Sandwich Slices onto the preheated flat top grill.

Step 3: After the portion has cooked through about half its thickness, flip the portion once.

Step 4: As the meat slices begin to cook, separate them with a spatula and add blackening seasoning.

Step 5: Chicken consistent white color with no pink remaining when completely cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F as measured using a meat thermometer.

Step 6: Place toasted kaiser bun onto a clean worksurface.

Step 7: Spread guacamole across the bottom half of the toasted kaiser bun and top with sliced tomatoes.

Step 8: Place the scrambled eggs on top of the sliced tomatoes.

Step 9: Place the reserved Original Philly® Chicken Sandwich Slices on top of the scrambled eggs and top with pepperjack cheese.

Step 10: Spread the sundried tomato spread across the top portion of the toasted kaiser bun.

Step 11: Sprinkle with sliced chives and place the prepared top portion of the kaiser bun onto the sandwich to close.

Step 12: Serve as needed.
