Smoked baby back ribs can be easy—with this recipe. Put together a classic dry rub, get your oven or grill up to temp, smoke and cook for 3 hours. These ribs are succulent, flavorful and can be made in the morning for lunch rush or in the afternoon for a craveable dinner special.

1 TBSP. | Dried Oregano |
2 TSP. | Salt (optional) |
1 TSP. | Garlic Powder |
1 TSP. | Onion Powder |
1 TSP. | Freshly Ground Black Pepper |
1/4 CUP | Apple Cider Vinegar |
2 Each | Large Handfuls Hickory, Cherry or Apple Wood Chips |
1 Each | Large Disposable Foil Pan |
TIPS: | Serve with roasted sweet potatoes and cucumber salad. |
Step 1: Pre-heat your smoker to 250°F.
Step 2: Pull off membrane from bone side of ribs.
Step 3: In a small bowl, combine cumin, oregano, and salt (optional) with the garlic powder, onion powder and pepper.
Step 4: Use seasoning mixture as a dry rub, covering both sides of rib racks. Cover and set aside.
Step 5: Place rubbed ribs meat side up in a single layer on cooking racks in smoker.
Step 6: Cook for about 3 hours our until internal temperature reaches 195°F – 205°F.
Step 7: Remove from grill. Let stand for 5 minutes and cut between bones into servings to plate and serve immediately
Note: You can follow the same time and temperature to cook these ribs in the oven. They just won’t have that smoky flavor.
