4 Oz. | Pimento Cheese Spread (Commercially Available) |
1 Tbsp. | Unsalted Butter - Softened |
2 Ea.. | Green Olive - Drained & Pitted |
Step 1: Preheat flat top grill to 350°F.
Step 2: Place both Aidells® Fully Cooked Smoked Chicken and Apple Chicken Sausage Link onto a clean cutting board and slice each of them in half, creating two equal half-size pieces.
Step 3: Place oil onto the pre-heated flat top grill.
Step 4: Place the sausage links onto the flat-top grill.
Step 5: Sear on both sides and cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
Step 6: Remove from flat-top grill and reserve.
Step 7: Place toasted Texas toast onto a clean worksurface.
Step 8: Spread the pimento cheese spread across one slice of the toasted Texas toast.
Step 9: Place the cooked and sliced sausage links on top of the pimento cheese spread.
Step 10: Place other slice of toasted Texas toast on top of sandwich to close.
Step 13: Place butter onto the flat-top grill.
Step 14: Place sandwich onto the flat-top grill and toast on each side.
Step 15: Remove from flat-top grill and place onto a clean cutting board.
Step 16: Place the olives onto a toothpick and place on each side of the sandwich.
Step 17: Using a knife, slice the sandwich in half from corner to corner.
Step 17: Serve as needed.

Convection: Cook from frozen. 1. Preheat convection oven to 350°F. 2. Place frozen links on a parchment lined sheet pan. 3. Cook 16-18 minutes or to a minimum internal temperature of at least 165°F, turning halfway for even browning.
Flat Top Grill: Cook from frozen. 1. Preheat flat top grill to 350°F. 2. Place frozen links on grill. 3. Cook 20-22 minutes or to a minimum internal temperature of at least 165°F, turning frequently for even browning.
