Directions

Step 1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2. Place empanada dough onto a clean worksurface.

Step 3. Place eggs, cheese, and jalapenos onto the empanada dough.

Step 4. Place the Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Original Skinless Pork Sausage Link into the center of the empanada.

Step 5. Brush a small amount of egg wash lightly over one-half edge’s border.

Step 6 . Fold dough over to create a half-moon shape and press edges firmly to seal.

Step 7. Crimp edges with the back of a fork.

Step 8. Use a pastry brush to gently brush the empanadas with an egg wash and bake until golden brown.
