The Gaucho Steak Grinder Recipe

Satisfy even the heartiest of appetites with this grinder featuring Original Philly® Beef Sandwich Slices, grilled and perfectly blended with sautéed onions, red peppers and poblano peppers. It’s finished and dressed with a fresh Chimichurri sauce, creamy Havarti cheese and served on a fresh steak roll for a center-of-plate entrée option.

1 ea.Steak roll -12-inch Hinge Cut 
8 oz.Original Philly® Beef Sandwich Slices, 8oz.
2 oz.Yellow Onions -Sautéed
1 oz.Red Bell Peppers -Sautéed
1 oz.Poblano Peppers -Sautéed
3 oz.Chimichurri Sauce
4 oz.Havarti Cheese Slices (4)

Chimichurri Sauce

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
1/2 cupOlive Oil
2 Tbsp.Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 cupParsley - Chopped
1/4 cupCilantro - Chopped
4 tsp.Garlic - Minced (3-4 cloves)
2 Tbsp.Red Jalapeno Pepper - 1 Pepper Small Diced
1 tsp.Oregano, Dried
1 tsp.Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp.Black pepper - Fresh Ground
Directions

Step 1: On a flattop grill, cook the Original Philly® Beef Sandwich Slices and then sauté the onions and peppers.

Step 2: Add the chimichurri sauce, mix all together and arrange into a 12-inch long pile.

Step 3: Top with cheese slices.

Step 4: Place open steak roll on top of meat, vegetables, and cheese.

Step 5: Use a long spatula to flip the sandwich upright.

Step 6: Cut in half and serve.

Chimichurri Directions

Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine fresh chopped parsley, cilantro, garlic, red pepper and oregano.

Step 2: Add ingredients to food processor or blender. Begin to blend.

Step 3: Once finished, pour into serving ramekin and mix in olive oil and red wine vinegar.

Step 4: Lightly season sauce with salt and fresh pepper.

Step 5: Pair with Gaucho Steak Grinder and enjoy.
