Everything Bagel Sausage Sandwich Recipe

Toasted everything bagel stacked with classically seasoned breakfast sausage, melty white American cheese, creamy avocado, griddled red onion, and a decadent sunny side up egg, all on a bed of fresh baby arugula.

1/2 OzBaby Arugula Lettuce - Washed
1 Ea.Jimmy Dean® Low Sodium Chicken Breakfast Sausage Patty 1.5oz
1 Ea.White American Cheese - Sliced
1 Ea.Egg - Cooked Sunny Side Up
4 Ea.Avocado, Sliced - Wedge
1 Oz.Red Onion Sliced & Griddled

Directions

Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 375°F.

Step 2: Cook Jimmy Dean® Low Sodium Chicken Sausage Patty on parchment-lined sheet pan for approximately 12-14 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Step 3: Remove from oven.

Step 4: Place each half of the toasted everything seasoned bagel onto serving plate.

Step 5: On the bottom half, place baby arugula over entire bagel.

Step 6: Top with Jimmy Dean® Low Sodium Chicken Sausage Patty and slice of cheese.

Step 7: Place the sunny side up egg on top of the Jimmy Dean® Low Sodium Chicken Sausage Patty and cheese.

Step 8: Lay the slices of avocado and griddled onion on top of the egg.

Step 9: Finish with the top half of the toasted everything seasoned bagel to close the sandwich.

Step 10: Serve immediately.
