Use this recipe to make a simple and tasty Mexican Style Chicken Queso Wrap made with Tyson® Dark Meat Chicken with Grill Strips, thawed, roughly chopped. A simple and cost effective addition to any menu.
YIELD: 5 EACH
8 oz. | Tyson® Dark Meat Chicken with Grill Strips, thawed, roughly chopped |
7.5 oz. | White Cheese Sauce |
3.5 oz. | Bell Peppers, diced |
2 oz. | Roasted Corn, drained |
1 oz. | Onion, diced |
5 EACH | Tyson Whole Grain Tortilla Wraps, 10” |
Step 1. Combine all ingredients with the Tyson® Dark Meat Chicken with Grill Strips
Step 2. Refrigerate immediately until ready for assembly.
Step 3. Lay out tortillas and scoop 4.7oz serving (scant #8 scoop or generous #10 scoop)
Step 4. Wrap in a burrito fashion and wrap in foil.
Step 5. Store refrigerated for up to 2 days
Step 6. If heating is desired, heat in foil until a temperature of 165F is reached.
TIP: If holding refrigerated for two days, consider adding a layer of lettuce leaves on tortilla before adding chilled chicken queso. This creates an added crunch and creates a barrier to keep the tortilla from getting moist. Lettuce can also serve as an additional 1/4 veg to get the CN to 1/2 cup veg per serving.
