Classic Steak Fries Recipe

Original Philly® Flat Steak piled on golden fries or your choosing, topped with Jalapeño cheese sauce, guacamole, diced green onions and grape tomatoes, with cilantro sprinkled on top. These fries eat more like a meal than a side!

Ingredients

YIELD: 2 SERVINGS 

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
4 oz.Original Philly® Flat Steak
1 lb.French Fries - Frozen
As NeededHot Oil
1 CupJalapeño Cheese Sauce - Heated And Kept Warm
2 CupsGuacamole (optional)
1/4 CupChopped Green Onions
1/4 CupCilantro Leaves, Coarsely Chopped
1/4 CupGrape Tomatoes, Quartered (optional)
Directions

Step 1: Deep fry 8 oz. fries in hot oil until crisp and golden brown; drain.

Step 2: Pile cooked fries on serving plate.

Step 3: On griddle, heat oil then add Original Philly® Flat Steak and cook until bottom is browned.

Step 4: Flip beef, then break up beef with spatula, stirring to cook completely, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5: Arrange beef on top of fries.

Step 6: Ladle 1/2 cup warm cheese sauce over beef.

Step 7: Top with tomatoes and serve with guacamole over top or on the side.

Step 8: Garnish with 1 Tbsp. green onion and 1 Tbsp. cilantro.
