Barbacoa Sauce
YIELD: 1 CUP

2 tbsp. | Chopped Garlic |
1/8 cup | Chipotle en Adobe Sauce - Canned |
1 tbsp. | Ground Cumin |
1 tsp. | Chili Powder |
1 tsp. | Dried Oregano |
1 tsp. | Salt |
Barbacoa Steak Sliders:
Step 1: In a saute pan over medium heat, combine Steak-EZE® Redi-Steak® Sliced Steak and barbacoa sauce and bring to a simmer. Hold hot.
Step 2: Heat peppers and onions according to manufacturer's instructions and hold hot for service.
Step 3: Using a slotted spoon, plate "barbacoa beef" over the heel of the bun.
Step 4: Top with peppers and onions, pickled jalapenos and cilantro.
Step 5: Heat yellow queso dip according to manufacturer's instructions and serve hot on the side for dipping sliders.
Barbacoa Sauce
Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 2: Chill and reserve.
