Chimi Steak Flatbread Recipe

A thin, crispy pizza crust topped with tender Steak-EZE® Redi-Steak® Fully Cooked Seasoned Sliced Beef, draped in a smoky, fire-roasted red pepper cream sauce. Smoked mozzarella, sweet red onions and a touch of red pepper flakes add bold flavor, all finished with a vibrant, fresh chimichurri sauce for a perfect burst of freshness.

4 OZ.Steak-EZE® Redi-Steak® Fully Cooked Seasoned Sliced Beef 4/2.5 LB
4 OZ.Shredded Smoked Mozzarella Cheese
1 OZ.Chimichurri Sauce (Commercially Prepared)
1 OZ.Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce (Sub-Recipe)
1 OZ.Red Onions, Sliced Thin
2 TSP.Red Pepper Flakes
5 - 7 EA.Picked Parsley Leaves

Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

YIELD:  24 OZ.

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
1/2 CUPHeavy Cream
2 CUPSDrained Roasted Red Peppers, Canned
1 TBSP.Garlic, Granulated
1 TSP.Red Chili Flakes
1/2 TSP.Salt

 

Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2: Lay out flatbread on a lined sheet tray. Top with Steak-EZE® Redi-Steak® Sliced Beef and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 3: Bake until flatbread is crispy and cheese is golden brown.

Step 4: Remove from oven and cut into quarters.

Step 5: Drizzle chimichurri and roasted red pepper cream sauce over flatbread.

Step 6: Garnish with red onions, picked parsley and red pepper flakes.
