Cheeseburger Stuffed Popper Pizza Recipe

A golden pizza dough crust stuffed with savory Hillshire Farm® Beef Topping oozing with melted cheddar cheese. Topped with fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, caramelized onions and tangy dill pickles for the perfect burger-inspired bite in every slice. A cheesy, beefy twist on a classic favorite!

1/4 PC.16" Pizza Dough, Thawed
6 OZ.Hillshire Farm® Cooked Beef Topping
3 OZ.Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 OZ.Caramelized Onions
2 OZ.Lettuce
2 SLICESTomato
2 EA.Dill Pickles
Directions

Step 1:  Using a 1/4 wedge of pizza dough, fill in the center with Hillshire Farm® Cooked Beef Topping and shredded cheddar cheese. 

Step 2:  Fold over edges enclosing the filling and crimp the edges closed.

Step 3:  Preheat fryer to 350°F.  Fry 3-5 minutes on each side until dough is cooked through.

Step 4:  Allow to rest 2-3 minutes on a rack after frying.

Step 5: Cut edge of pizza pocket open.

Step 6: Stuff warm pizza pocket with caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles.

Step 7:  Serve wrapped in parchment paper for easier eating as a handheld.
